Obituary of David Siweck

David L. Siweck, 66, of Tucson, passed away on April 19, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sharon; mother, Alice; son, Brett; daughter, Teresa Evans, her husband, Doug; granddaughter, Casey Evans. His father, Robert G. Siweck, and his brother, Don, preceded him in death. Dave was born on March 20, 1941 in Decatur, Illinois. After graduating from Millikin University, he served 21 years as a United States Marine Corps Officer. Retiring in 1983, he settled in Tucson and began a 28-year career in the real estate industry, serving as a manager, teacher, and mentor. He was president of AZ CRS Chapter, Realtor of the Year, CRS of the Year, and chaired or served on many national CRS committees, including the Board of Directors. His passion was people and helping others. There will be a gathering of friends and family 10am to noon on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at Desert Sunset Funeral Home, 3081 W. Orange Grove Rd, Tucson (520) 297-9007. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Hearth Foundation or the Navy/Marine Corps Relief Society.
