Obituary of Robert Earl Johnson

Robert Earl Johnson JOHNSON, Robert Earl (Bob), 49, died on July 30, 2007 after a short battle with cancer. His constant optimism will be missed by his family and many friends. Preceded in death by his father, Robert; mother, Virginia and brother, Mark. Survived by his wife of 20 years, Karen Lynn; sister, Victoria Matulich of California and sister, Cindy Peterson of Tucson as well as many nieces and nephews. Bob was a long time resident of Tucson and graduated from Flowing Wells High School. He was an engineer at Raytheon for 25 years and was proud to be considered a "rocket scientist". There will be a celebration of Bob's life on Saturday, August 4, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at 3006 W. Orange Grove Rd. (Orange Grove and Shannon). Bob's wish was for his friends and family to celebrate and be happy when remembering him. All who want to help fulfill this wish are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to TMC Hospice in Bob's name. Arrangements by DESERT SUNSET FUNERAL HOME.
