Obituary of Michael Paul Krug

Michael Paul Krug Sr., 46, Tucson, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 12, 2018. He was born in Meadville PA, to John H. Krug Sr. and Janet Krug and was a resident of Arizona for 33 years. He is survived by his parents; his wife, Debbie Krug (Halwood); his children, Dominique Halwood, Michael Paul Krug Jr. and Dale Krug; his sisters, Chris Krug and Michelle Henry (Krug); his nieces, Ashley O'Regan (Krug) and Aleisa Krug (whom he helped raise); as well as his father and mother-in-law, Danny and Virginia Halwood and their family. He is predeceased by his brother, John H. Krug Jr. He was a graduate of the University of Arizona and member of Alpha Gamma Rho, earning his Bachelor's in Agricultural Education and later his Master's in Administration from the University of Phoenix. Michael was a devoted educator and FFA Advisor, taking two teams to the National FFA Convention. He taught for several years until he became a principal, and impacted the lives of many students and their families. He was a loving father, son, brother and uncle. He enjoyed rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers and The Arizona Wildcats. He was a big supporter of the US Military and the NRA, he loved everything America, including NASCAR, hunting and fishing. He loved working on old cars and attending races with his sons. He was always so proud of his family's accomplishments, including those of his daughter, Dominique, who carried on the family legacy in graduating from University of Arizona. He loved exploring Arizona's beautiful landscapes and taking his family to all the newest action movies. He will be deeply missed by everyone that had the privilege to know him.
