Obituary of Lewis MacDonald

MACDONALD, Lewis 95, passed away November 14th at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ in the company of family. Lewis was born on December 17, 1922 in Stornoway, Scotland. He was preceded in death by his wife Agnes (married 1950), sisters Margaret and Christine, his son Kenneth (infant), and his grandson Ryan. He is survived by his sister Mairi, his children Allan, Sheila, Nancy, and Heather; his grandchildren Kyla, Ian, Justin, Matthew, Russell, Farideh; and his great-grandchildren Carl and Allison. Lewis proudly served in WWII from 1942-47 in the Royal Air Force "Pathfinder" Bomber Squadron based at Lossiemouth, Scotland; the most notable bombardment his squadron delivered was the sinking of the Tirpitz, the sister ship to the Bismarck. Service was private.
