Obituary of Tessie Carrello

On Friday, April 26th, 2019, Tessie Carrello, loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend died at the age of 84. Tessie was born on February 23rd, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY. Tessie loved to spend time with her family and friends. She made many trips to Austin and Colorado Springs to visit her children and grandchildren. She bickered playfully with her sister in law Joann. And she could be found most Thursday's at Einstein Bagels visiting with her friends from the Italian Catholic Federation, although she was Greek. She loved to make withdrawals and occasionally deposits from the local casinos in Tucson, and she could keep you up to speed on most soap operas, especially General Hospital. With her quick wit, zest for life, and kind heart, she was the life of any party. Tessie was preceded in death by her mother, and her father, and brothers Jimmy, Stephen, Peter, George and Billy Kochones. She is survived by her (wasband) Julio Carrello, son Peter Carrello and his wife Sherri, daughter Trisha Carrello and her wife Shannon, and her son Roger Harris. She has a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. She will be deeply missed and always loved. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Tessie's honor.
