Obituary of Gregory S. Vasquez

It is with great sadness that the family of Greg Vasquez announces his passing on Friday, October 11, 2019 at the age of 63, in his home surrounded by his family. Greg was born in Nogales, AZ on February 20, 1956 to Louis and Theodora Vasquez. Preceded in death by his father, Louis. Survived by his mother, Theodora; his daughter, Tanya; siblings, Victoria (Tom), George (Terri), Rebecca Becker (Ben), Fred (Teri), Ted (Linda), Ramona (Gabe) and Alex (Julie), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. Greg was a 1974 graduate of Flowing Wells High School. Greg worked for Vasquez Construction Company for many years. He was a carpenter cabinetmaker at the University of Arizona for the last 23+ years. Services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 601 E. Ft. Lowell Rd., Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations to Casa Maria Soup Kitchen or American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
