Obituary of Kevin R. Rousseau

Kevin R. Rousseau, 61, passed away on June 15, 2020 with his wife Rosa by his side.

 

Kevin was born on August 16, 1958 to Leslie and Virginia (Gilliam) Rousseau in Amarillo, TX.

Kevin grew up in Rome, NY and Harrisonville, MO with his two older sisters; Marianne and Letha. He graduated from Harrisonville High School in 1976.

 

In 1979 Kevin married his first wife, Linda Campbell. Together they had a daughter, Carmenlita, born in 1980 and a son, Nicolas born in 1983.

In 1993 the family moved from Harrisonville, MO to Tucson, AZ.

 

In April 2001, Kevin married Rosa Lea Carter and became a step-father to Brandon and Jason Larter.

 

Kevin worked for many years at Carpet One where he made lifelong friendships with many of his co-workers. He was a great friend and a hard worker.

 

Kevin was known for being quite the story teller and for being able to have a special way in seeing the humor in many situations. When Kevin wasn’t working, he liked spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed playing tennis on the weekends.

 

Kevin was predeceased by his parents; Leslie and Virginia Rousseau, daughter Camernlita Bliven and granddaughter, Brianna Rousseau.

 

Kevin is survived by his wife, Rosa Lea; son, Nicolas and his wife Sabrina; sisters, Marianne Kartsanis and Letha Rousseau; granddaughters, Caliana Bliven and Matilda Sanford; stepson, Brandon Larter and his wife Theresa; stepson, Jason Larter and his wife Cathy; step grandchildren Adrianna Higgins, nephews, Henry and Andrew Thompson; son-in-law, Casey Bliven; as well as several other family members and many friends.

Kevin will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

 

A service will be scheduled for a later date.
