Damon was a really sweet and intelligent guy who loved the truth. We only spoke a few times but he always called me, that’s the kind of guy he was. I can’t believe he is gone and I will miss him. I believe he is looking down on us...he made it to heaven.

The world has lost a great man.
Damon was one of the sweetest, smartest funniest and bravest people I've ever "met". Like everyone else I'm absolutely heartbroken to hear that this wonderful force of nature is no longer with us.
I will miss our chats about everything from politics to philosophy to history to sports, he really was a thoughtful and smart man.
I'll also miss having someone to share cute videos of baby animals with, I've never met anyone who enjoyed watching baby animals as much as Damon (a trait I found absolutely adorable).
My deepest condolences to the family - Damon spoke so very highly of you All and told me so many funny stories, that I almost feel like I knew you all. - you should All be proud of the man you helped him to become and take pride in how big of an impact he had on people all over the world. I will forever be grateful for having had the amazing privilege to call a man like Damon my friend.
I'll see you in our secret spot in the sky.. I'll bring my guitar and play some of the music from my part of the world, that you enjoyed so much. Until then rest in peace my dear friend. Greetings from Freya in Scandinavia

I met Damon 3 years ago and he quickly became one of my best friends. He touched my life in so many ways. His wisdom and insight was way beyond his years. I will miss our daily conversations. I will miss his consistent encouragement and overall support. I will never forget you and will continue the journey that we both started. I love you brother!
