Obituary of Ian Matthew Riley

Ian Matthew Riley, 38, died suddenly April 27, 2021 in Tucson, Arizona.  He was born on November 17, 1982 in Summit, New Jersey.  The son of Susan and Robert Riley, Ian graduated Bernards High School in 2001. Ian received his CPA from James Madison University 2007. A proud Wildcat booster, Ian enjoyed his job in the accounting department of University of Arizona.

  Ian grew up in Bedminster NJ where he enjoyed fishing in the Raritan River, soccer and little league. A six year lifeguard at the Lake Club in Far Hills, Ian loved the back woods of Somerset County.  He was known for his intelligence and wit.  His humor, kindness and generosity will be missed by all who knew him.  Ian is survived by his parents Susan and Robert Riley of Kent, CT, brother Carl Riley of Mesa, AZ and many loving aunts uncles and cousins.  A memorial is planned for fall.   Donations may be made the Brain Aneurysm Foundation, bafound.org.
