Obituary of Donna Sue Kridel

Donna left us too early and so unexpectedly on Sunday, June 13, 2021. Originally from Youngstown OH, Donna settled in Tucson AZ as a young woman and eventually found her soulmate, Mike Kridel. Together they built a home filled with love and laughter that became the hub for gatherings of family and friends.

Donna’s inner brightness ignited the light in others, especially her family and friends.  Her optimistic spirit, courageous soul, and compassionate character touched the lives of all who met her.

Donna leaves behind her true love and beloved husband Mike Kridel and their loving children: Gina (Ryan) Quast, Jay Kridel and Gus Kridel. She is also survived by her mother, June Stoffle-Skwartz; sister, Debbie (Bill) Senn; mother-in-law, Patricia Kridel; stepbrother, RJ (Jeanine) Skwartz; sister-in-law, Lisa Stoffle; brothers-in-law, Donnie, Bob and Jim Kridel, Randy McNamara, "Auntie" Tina Stoffle, as well as many treasured cousins, nieces and nephews that absolutely adored their “Aunt Donna.”

Donna is preceded in death by her beloved father, Walter Stoffle; sister Pamela McNamara, brothers Rick and Mike Stoffle; stepfather Ron Skwartz; loving uncles Bob, Jim and Ron Stoffle, as well as her cherished, canine companion, “Milo.” 

Mike and Donna’s children have requested that family and friends take a few moments over the next month or so to write down at least one of their favorite memories with Donna. The information will be used to create a memorial of their much-loved Mother. All information should be forwarded to email: ginaq.ctma@gmail.com. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Desert Sunset Funeral Home 3081 W. Orange Grove Road, Tucson AZ 85741. Please note face masks required.
