Angelo Carbone

Obituary of Angelo Carbone

Angelo Carbone aged 84, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2021 at his home in Tucson AZ, surrounded by loved ones.

Angelo will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Rosaria and his children, Maria (Jaime), Nicola (Valerie) and Nunzio (Jasmine).  Angelo will also be fondly remembered by his seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Sara, Cristin, Ryan, Matthew, Myles and Monet.

Born on 9/8/36 in the small town of Pezzolo, Sicily, Angelo loved caring for this family’s land, climbing fruit trees and playing soccer.  At age 15, he migrated to the United states to start his young life working several endeavors as a service mechanic and then as an insurance agent.  After serving as a Combat Medic/Healthcare Specialist in the United States Armed Forces, he landed a job at Raytheon as a Glassman, supporting their Aerospace division, before retiring after 27+ years of service.

His overwhelming desire to put family and friend’s need in front of his, was his biggest asset.  Not only did he help friends and family migrate to the United States, his generosity continued as he helped them build a better life here.

There will be a Funeral Service held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday 7/29, 2021 at the Desert Sunset Funeral Home, 3081 W. Orange Grove Rd. Tucson.

Interment will follow at the Marana Mortuary & Cemetery, 12146 W. Barnett Road, Marana, AZ 85653.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests donations to the St Jude children’s foundation:
