Obituary of Margaret Ruth Mullins

Margaret Ruth Mullins(Cordato), 86, of Tucson, AZ passed away on December 8th.  Maggie was born and raised in Hudson, NY, the daughter of John and Grace Mullins. She was predeceased by her parents, her ex-husband of 30 years, Rocco Cordato Jr, her sister Katherine Buckley and brother John Mullins.  

She is survived by her loving sister Shirley O’Reilly of North Hero, VT.  She is also survived by her 4 children:  Linda McDonald (Fred) of Phoenix, AZ, Rocco Cordato III (Patricia) of Troy, NY, Ellen Cordato, of Tucson, AZ and Nancy Henning (Jerry) of Tucson, AZ.  She is also survived by 4 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and 7 great-grandchildren:  Frederick McDonald (Megan) and children Kayden, Mila and Arya of Gilbert, AZ, Kathleen McDonald of Boise, ID, Rocco Cordato IV and children Rocco V, Giulianna, and Gianella of Troy, NY, Zackary Hollar (Joelle) and daughter Elliana, Parker Cordato, Grace Henning all of Tucson, AZ and several nieces and nephews. 

 Maggie retired from NY Tel/Verizon in 1991 after 31 years of dedicated employment.  She spent her 30 year retirement sewing, quilting, reading, traveling and loving on her family.  She was a devoted member of Summit Ridge Community Church. 

Her family would like to thank the kind staff of Northwest Hospital and the caring staff of Amada Senior Care.

 A celebration of her life will be held at Summit Ridge Community Church on Saturday December 18th at 10:00 am with a reception to follow.   All who wish to attend are welcome.  Burial services will be held in Hudson in the spring of 2022.
