Obituary of Robert "Bob" Cregger

Robert Cregger, born and raised in Casper Wyoming, passed away on June 16, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Tucson at 73 years of age.

Bob was an active genealogist, loved volunteering and participating in reenactments at El Presidio San Agustin del Tucson, Old Tucson Studios, Fort Casper and Mountain Man Rendezvous in Wyoming. For living History presentations and workshops, he sewed leathers and period clothing for family and friends. Bob loved shooting black powder firearms as did his wife Ange and riding motorcycles. He retired working security at Tucson Water for 10 years in 2011.

Bob and Ange were married in 1987 in Casper Wyoming moving to Newcastle, Wyoming where he owned the Locken Booth and later moved to Tucson in 2000 with his wife and two dogs, a cat and not long after a horse named Butch. While in Tucson he and Ange traveled throughout the United States and Canada camping in every National forest they could find.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Robert Cregger, Edith Maud Chapman, two sisters and one brother. Survived by his loving wife Angelil Freel Cregger, devoted companion Molly dog, one daughter Alicia Kelley, and three sons William Robert Cregger, Jordan Andrew Cregger and Cody Don Ingram, his sister Karen Fitzgerald, and one brother Gordon Meyer and eight grandchildren.
