Obituary of Laura Jean Kingery
LAURA "LAURIE" JEAN KINGERY
Our Mom, Nana, Sister, Aunt and Friend, transitioned from this life on Sunday, September 25, 2022, peacefully, with her family by her side in Oro Valley, Arizona.
Laurie is preceded in death by Parents, Elmer & Dell Hess; Sister, Lorraine Hess and Granddaughter, Jennifer Aguero.
She is survived by Daughters; Erin (T.J) Nicholas, Jamie (Gabriel) Aguero and Kelly Kingery; Grandsons, Christopher, Joseph, Anthony, Joshua, Jeremiah, Thomas, Charles, Kenneth (arriving soon); Granddaughters, Tessa and Alexis; Sister, Echo Hess and Nieces, Jessica, Lacey and Logan.
Born on March 31, 1960 in Tucson, Arizona, Laurie spent much of her youth in Indiana before returning home and growing her family. You could often find Laurie busy with DIY and home improvement projects or expressing her creativity through crafting with her grandchildren. She loved her pets, her many plants, astrology and her hummingbird friends. She often talked about her dream of visiting Africa.
Laurie was clever and feisty but also kind, and absolutely gave more than she received.
Of the many things we will miss, the most will be her generous spirit, fierce wit and extraordinary love.
A celebration of Laurie's life will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Glover Ranch In Marana, Arizona at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, please honor Laurie's love of animals by making a monetary or in-kind donation in her name, to the Southern Arizona Humane Society.
