Obituary of Elizabeth Jane Curtis
Elizabeth Jane (Hobbs) Curtis, 86, of Oro Valley, AZ, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 8th, 2022.
Libby was born on December 6, 1935 to Russell and Virginia (Ward) Hobbs in Wheeling, WV where she enjoyed her childhood with her three older brothers; Bob, Russ, and Ron.
Libby got a BA degree in Psychology from Hollins University in Roanoke, VA, before marrying the love of her life, Bradley Curtis, on March 29th, 1958. Libby and Brad raised 4 kids before Libby decided to get her MBA from Golden Gate University and work as a systems analyst for Bank of America.
Libby enjoyed baking, crossword puzzles, all kinds of needlework, gardening, and watching birds with Brad on the back patio. Libby and Brad moved from Roseville CA to Oro Valley, AZ in 2012 where Libby got to enjoy the community, weather, and nature of the area.
Libby is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Brad as well as all four of their children; Kimberly Anne (Curtis) Thornton, Cynthia Lee (Curtis) Mason, Charles Stephen Curtis, and James Russell Curtis; and 6 grandchildren.
There will be a small service held on Saturday 12/10 at 2 pm at Westward Look Wyndham in Tucson. Please send your sentiments/memories or RSVP to attend in person to:
