Rachel Rivera

Obituary of Rachel Nicole Rivera

On Thursday, December 1, 2022, our beloved Rachel passed away. She was 34 years old. Born on May 5, 1988 in Tucson, AZ, Rachel came into our world and instantly changed the way we would experience love forever. Rachel was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who touched all of the lives she encountered in a deep and profound way with her contagious laugh, genuine heart and beautiful smile. Rachel dedicated her life to her children, Aliviah and Treyson, her husband Jaquari Kountz and stepson Noah.

Rachel was preceded in death by her Nana, Lydia Rivera, Tata, Eleazar Rivera, and her Nana Sarah Villa and Tata Alvino Villa.

Rachel is survived by her parents, Martin Rivera (Diana Gene Loree) and Irma Villa Rivera (Matt Martinez), her brother Andrew Rivera , sister Alisha Rivera (Dominic Lopez), nieces Jaylah, Andi and Alexis and nephews Dre and Hendrix. Rachel also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends who loved her dearly.

What we will miss the most about Rachel is her ability to light up any room she walked into. Her love of life and family, especially her unconditional love for her children, will keep her alive in our hearts for eternity. Rachel gave all that she had to the people she loved and her sense of humor is unmatched. Her smile could change someone's day and her beautiful eyes told stories without words. Our hearts are forever changed with this loss, but we are comforted knowing we have a beautiful guardian angel to watch over us.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Zion City Flowing Wells, located at 2561 Ruthrauff Rd. 85705. There will be a private viewing at 10 am for immediate family only, followed by a service at 11 am. Reception information to follow.
