Emmeron Lloyd Skara

1935 - 2024

Emmeron “Emme” Lloyd Skara passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2024 at his home in Tucson, AZ at the age of 89.

Emme was born in St. Paul, MN on January 27, 1935 to Osmund and Prudence Skara. He grew up in St. Paul, MN. Emme joined the United States Army in 1956 and the Army Reserves in 1958. Emme met his wife Phyllis in St. Paul and they married on June 26, 1965. Emme and Phyllis moved to Tucson, AZ in October 2014.

Emme is survived by his daughter, Benita (Gregory) Koury in Little Falls, MN and Vincent (Diane) Cardinal in Oro Valley, AZ. Grandchildren include Jackie Koury, Michael (Susan) Cardinal and John Keeley. His great grandchildren were his joys in life; Aubree and Chase Cardinal and Hailey and Hannah Keeley.

Emme is preceded in death by his loving wife, Phyllis, siblings, Marnold and Carol. His parents and nieces

A Memorial Service will be held at 10am on Thursday, March 28th, at Arizona Memorial Cemetery at Marana, 15950 North Luckett Rd, Marana, AZ
