I am truly sorry for your loss. It's at times like this that we wonder why we grow old, get sick and die. We can be thankful that the Bible tells us why. Romans 5:12 says that it's because we sin and are imperfect. Thankfully the Bible also tells us at John 5:28,29 that the dead will one day be resurrected. Jesus gave us a taste of what this will be like when he resurrected Lazarus and returned him to his family. Many scriptures in the Bible show that the time for Jesus to do this is very close at hand. So take comfort in what we are promised.

Laurie & Family, David always had a smile and kind words for us. I remember that we sang Karaoke together in March at our house warming party.... Those are the times that need to be recalled - When he was vivacious and loving life, as he did. He will be missed but we know he is in a better place where his burdens of mortality are no longer. God saw he was getting tired, a cure was not to be. So He whispered gently in David's ear, "It's time to come with me." Our hearts are left empty, but now David is whole. We have comfort knowing that Jesus has David's soul.
