Obituary of Loren Albert Dunaway

Loren Albert Dunaway passed away after a long illness on November 9, 2008, at his home in Tucson, Arizona. His primary caregivers were his loving wife, Betty and his daughter, Pam. He is also survived by his sons, Lonnie, Chris, and Nolen and daughter, Lori; two sisters, Carolyn and Gale; six grandchildren, Chelsea, Marissa, Samantha, Alexandra, Rick and Jacob and a very large extended family. Loren spent 40 years in Los Angeles in the Biomedical technology field and retired to Tucson in 2002. He was a creative woodworker who loved the mountains, traveling, cruising, and classic cars. Loren was a member of the Elks Lodge #1948 in Torrance, California. The family is eternally grateful to the care given by Odyssey Hospice team, but notably Tina Hosack and Bob Ebert for going beyond the call of duty to make his last months comfortable and enjoyable.
