Obituary of Frank Diaz Holguin
Frank D. Holguin, 93, of Tucson, AZ passed away April 21, 2009. He worked in construction most of his life. He was a WWII Army Veteran who received a Purple Heart when he was wounded in the Marshall Islands. He was preceded in death by his parents Simon and Dionicia Holguin; siblings, Manuel, Simon, Josie, Mary Ellen and Tony; niece, Debbie; great nephew, Richard; and great-great nephew Anthony. Frank is survived by his nieces and nephews, Frank, Ezekiel, Diane and Denise; 8 great nieces and nephews; and 8 great-great nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank La Canada Care Center and Casa de la Luz Hospice for their care and compassion towards Frank. Per Frank's request no services will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Casa de la Luz Hospice Foundation, 400 W. Magee Rd. Tucson, AZ 85704. Arrangements entrusted to Desert Sunset Funeral Home (297-9007).
