Obituary of Tina Tomasello

Tomasello, Tina M., 83. Born in San Francisco, CA on October 21, 1925, passed away in Tucson, AZ on May 12, 2009. Married for 65 years to John J. Tomasello, a retired mechanical engineer and one of the developers of the microwave oven who died in Santa Clara, CA on March 18, 2007. Beloved mother of five children, Sherri, Mike, Ron, Pam (deceased), and Rick. She was also a grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Went to school in San Francisco. Worked as a steam presser in her youth, then mostly as a housewife extraordinaire, and also later in life left her mark in the semiconductor fab industry. Tina was a charismatic little lady who liked to take charge, had a delightful personality and easy smile, and those who came to truly know her loved her. She left a lasting impression on most everyone she met. She will be greatly missed. Memorial Services will be held at 10 am May 26, 2009, at The Fountains of La Cholla in Tucson, AZ and a second service will be held at Living Hope Fellowship Center in Newark, CA at 11 am on May 30, 2009, for family and friends of Tina in the San Francisco Bay Area.
