Obituary of Cody Wayne Cope

Cody Wayne Cope, age 26, passed away May 18th in Marietta, Georgia. "Cody Bear" as he was known to his family and friends, was born in Anchorage, Alaska on November 14th, 1982. He was a very sensitive young man, who, from a very early age was often giving to those less fortunate than himself. He served time as a member of the United States Army National Guard, and was an avid computer geek. He was known for his quick wit and his ability to make people laugh, even if you were mad at him. . . Brat! Cody leaves behind his wife; Cassandra, mother; Karin Wilson (Adair), father; Larry Wilson, sisters; Kristina (Wes), Nikki (Dustin), Cookie, Faith, Priya, Ashley, Cori, Kirsten and Kinsey. Brothers; Brandon, AJ, Devin, Matthew, Jamie, Lawson, Christian and Drew. Nieces; Grace and Natalie, Nephew; Kaden. Grandparents; Gene & Kathy Fowler, Jim & Nancy Wilson, Nana, and Antonia Chastain. Uncle Steve & Aunt Tracey, Uncle Ken and Aunt Diana and Aunt Jeanna. Cousins; Tiffany, Brandy, Tomy (Angie), Kathy, Heather (Mike), Dustin, Shannon, Tatum (Eric) and Sean. There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, May 26th at 4pm. It will be held at the LDS Church at 3530 W. Magee (just east of Thornydale) with a gathering at his mother's home afterward. Come for a visit and some food, Cody's two favorite things!
