Obituary of Jack M. Hart

Jack M. Hart October 22, 1920, Topeka, Kansas -- May 16, 2009, Tucson, Arizona Born in Topeka Kansas, Jack attended Topeka High School and Washburn University where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta. After serving in World War II, Jack returned to Topeka where he began JM Hart Printing Company. In the early 1960's Jack began a series of partnerships in various franchises throughout the country, most predominantly, Pizza Hut. Married to Louise Roller Hart for 67 years, Jack's family meant so much to him. His son John and wife Patty live in Houston and daughter Marianne lives in Beaufort, SC. Five grandchildren and three great grandchildren were also a great source of pride to him. Jack enjoyed his great circle of friends, playing golf and traveling. Living in Topeka until 1993, Jack was very active in community affairs. Together, Jack and Lou visited almost all the continents and many countries, instilling in his children a curiosity and interest in the world.
