Obituary of Albert & Dorothea Vetter

Albert Vetter Dorothea Vetter Albert Vetter, 84 and Dorothea Vetter, 80, passed away suddenly on September 5, 2009. Albert was born September 26, 1925 in Italy. He came to America in 1938 and later became a proud American citizen. Dorothea was born January 1, 1929 and had the distinction of being the first baby born in Cleveland, Ohio that year. They met in a Cleveland neighborhood tavern in 1948. Married on October 20, 1950, they went on to have two children and too many dogs to count. They worked hard all their lives and in 1989 achieved their lifelong dream of moving out west to retire in the desert. Al and Dorothea gave their time and dedication to many things over the course of their lives but nothing was more important than family. They were not only man and wife, but soul mates and best friends as well. They are survived by their son, Robert and his wife Laura; and their daughter, Dena; as well as four grandchildren, Jeremy, Nicholas, Chris and Michaela.
