Obituary of John Joseph Brez

John Joseph Brez (Brezovacki) 85, left this earth surrounded by love on All Souls Day, November 2, 2009. John was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and Marine. He proudly served our country in the second World War with the 1st Infantry Division. He was a loving father, many times over who, in his golden years, found true love and had a good life with his wife and many pets. We will carry the memory of his quick wit, his wonderful sense of humor, and the warmth of his heart with us always, and know we have been blessed to be his family. John was preceded in death by his sister, Kay; brother, George; sons, Michael John and David; and daughter, Margo. He is survived by his wife, Sandy; brother, Jim; son, John; daughters, Carol Kay (Jim), Anita Sue, Dorothy (Paul), Mary (Francisco), Tomasa, Jean, Linda, Karen (Robert), and Karla (Mark), as well as many other family members including several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We would like to thank the VA Hospital Staff for their kind care. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2009 at Lord of Grace Lutheran Church, 7250 N. Cortaro Rd.
