Obituary of Leonard Lindquist

Leonard "Andy" Lindquist May 27, 1934-December 12, 2009 Leonard "Andy" Lindquist loving husband, father and friend passed away peacefully with Bobbie, his wife of 50 years, by his side. He is survived by sons, David (Diana), Philip and Peter; daughters, Lisa and Katherine; sisters, Nita and Linda; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Andy enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as Forest Service Supervisor of the Caribbean, Kaibab, and Kit Carson National Forests. He will be remembered as a kind and gentle man with many talents including: artist, historian and craftsman. He was soft-spoken with a keen wit. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on January 9, 2010 at Our Lady of the Desert Church. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Casa de la Luz Hospice and Dr. Wendt, Joan and Dawn.
