Obituary of JoAnne Palmer

Joanne Palmer born November 2, 1933 in Newport, North Carolina to Newton and Annie Mae McCain passed away January 3, 2010 from complications after heart surgery. By her side were her husband of 33 years, William E Palmer; daughter, Deborah Turner; son, Randall Turner; and friends. Joanne was employed as a customer service representative by Burr Brown for seventeen years and made friends all over the world. Joanne loved her dogs Ginger and Sami, taking care of her plants, touring the country in the RV, riding motorcycles, playing cards with her former co-workers and chatting with old classmates from Kingston, North Carolina. Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Jeanette Wooten and stepson, Richard Alan Palmer. Stepson, William Palmer also survives Joanne. Memorial Services will be held at Canyon Del Oro Baptist Church, 9200 N. Oracle Road, Tucson, Arizona, on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 4:00 p.m.
