Obituary of Archie Anderson

M/Sgt Archie A Anderson, Sr., retired U.S.N. and U.S.A.F., proudly served his country in WWII, Korean and Viet Nam Wars, was born 2/26/20 and passed away the morning of his early surprise 90th Birthday party 2/20/10. Born in Hinton, W.Va., to parents Azor Elizar and Mary Ellen Anderson, Archie was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Pauline, Addilee and Nancy. Archie is survived by his life partner, friend and confidant Marge Goslin; son, Archie Anderson, Jr. (Jan); daughter, Babette Spacone; grandchildren, Michael Spacone (Anne), Matthew Spacone, Cheryl Cooper (Sean), Kristen Swingle (Gary); 6 Great Grandchildren and extended family Ellen Bryant (Richard), Chuck Goslin (Linda), Greg Goslin (Tina) and Carrie Hubbard."Andy" was mentally and physically active until his last moments. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He loved his little patch of the desert with all of its Flora & Fauna ~ they too will miss him. A lifetime member of the Shriners, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Andy's honor to the Transportation Fund @ Sabbar Shrine Temple, 450 Tucson Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85716.
