Obituary of Kim Lorie Bohe

Kim Lori Bohe, daughter of Daniel and Ingeborg Henry, was born August 27, 1957 in Edison, New Jersey. She lived in New Jersey for 11 years until her family moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1968. Kim grew up in the Tucson Mountain area. She enjoyed horses, motorcycles, camping, off-road four-wheeling, boating, water skiing, snow skiing, many vacations, swimming, many board and card games and drawing. She loved the outdoors, gardening and all plants and animals. She met Alan in February 1982 and married August 1989 in Laughlin, Nevada. Kim was blessed with two sons, Patrick and Kirk, and two grandsons, Kirk Jr. and Trent. As a mother she was a best friend and buddy. They did everything together and were inseperable. She worked for Aztec Air Conditioning as their purchasing agent and enjoyed managing Jail House Cafe in Durango Saloon. Kim, Alan and Kirk opened AK&K Automotive in May 1996 and she also worked part time at a thrift store. She also took a class in landscaping and receiving a certificate in that field. Her loving disposition made her a friend to everyone she ever met. When you met Kimi you took at part of her with you. She had unconditional love for all. She suffered two tragedies in her life. One was the loss of her mother in 1994 and the tragic death of her son Kirk in 2005 after which a part of Kimi was gone forever. With the help of her loving family and friends her life continued on. She became ill in October 2009. With much dismay the doctors did not find the problem. She went into the hospital on May 13, 2010. Diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer she lost the battle on June 4, 2010. Jesus led her to join her mother and son. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years Alan; son Patrick; grandsons, Kirk Jr. and Trent; father Daniel; sister Neci; mother-in-law Janice; brother-in-law Scott; sister-in-law Linda (Sissel) and her husband Dan; nieces Desiree, Ariana and Leah; nephews Derrik and Wade; six grandnieces and grandnephews, many friends and her loving dog Boo.
