Obituary of Melanie Sue Gore

July 23, 1955 - April 19, 2021

 

Melanie Sue Gore, 65, of Tucson, AZ passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021.

 

Her family will hold a Celebration of Life Memorial in Oklahoma at a later time. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Desert Sunset Funeral Home in Tucson.

 

Melanie was born on July 23, 1955 in Port Arthur, TX to Glen and Mary (Pitts) Beck and was raised in McAlester, OK by Mother Mary Alongi & Stepfather Carmel Alongi.

 

Melanie married Ray Gore in August 1999 and resided in Tucson, AZ.

 

Melanie worked in the Medical Administration field for over 25 years. She loved her family, her sweet pup, Sophie, sewing and caring for her numerous rose bushes. She enjoyed staying busy with photography, baking and scrapbooking. Melanie loved all things country, from country music, to classic westerns, to line dancing and her many pair of cowboy boots.

 

Melanie was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Alongi and stepfather, Carmel Alongi.

 

Melanie is survived by her beloved husband, Ray Gore

 

Children: Vicki & Tom Harvel of IN, Brian Rees & Jennifer of OK, Cristy & Garry Dompke of IN. Stepchildren Traci & Kent Rosevear of AZ, Savannah Gore of AZ

 

Grandchildren: Casey, Ali, Riley, Carson, Jase, Crystal, Kenna, Kenneth, Kammi, Andrea and Joey

 

Great Grandchildren: Taylor, Odin, Taylor, Tessa, Amiah, Alicia and Jazmyne

 

Siblings: Glenda West, Marilyn Proctor, Bill Beck, Janet Sneed and Peggy Lightfoot
