Susan Novack

Obituary of Susan Laura Novack

On Saturday morning June 26, 2021 Susan Novack took her last breath and moved on to her next life.

Susan was born October 26, 1959 in Everett, Washington to Marcie Collier and adopted to Paul and Mildred Gaman. She loved adventure and lived a life of many phases. She obtained a certificate as a veterinary technician, worked as a wildlife zoo keeper at Wildlife Safari, and a big-rig truck driver. She later went back to school for massage therapy and had success in the profession working at 5 star spas such as the St. Regis in Aspen, Colorado. She had a passion for going with the flow of life and appreciating all opportunities which allowed her to live in places around the world with her soul mate, Greg.

Inspired by her adopted father Paul, Susan had a passion for volunteering and helping others. Susan brought her young children to deliver Meals on Wheels to homebound elderly weekly. She would volunteer to host visiting Russian gymnasts, and believed in assisting those whenever they were in need. She worked and volunteered with adults with disabilities at various points throughout life and supported them in navigating the challenges of life.  She believed in kindness and the interconnectedness of all people and teaching this to children. Susan was a devoted mother who gave her all to her children. She was instrumental in assisting her oldest daughter Marina to complete a Master program by helping to raise her oldest grandson Michael for the first 2 years of his life.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Paul, Mildred and Marcie. Her dog, Niki, whom she welcomed visions of near the last days of her life. She is survived by her loving husband, Greg, daughters Laura and Marina (Pedro), step-daughter Erica (Vinny), Grandsons Michael and Elijah, Sister Linda and niece Shannan (Adam).

In Lieu of a funeral service Susan would want everyone to look for an opportunity to do something kind for someone else in need.
