Obituary of Enrico Tivis

Enrico (Rico) Tivis, age 62, of Tucson, AZ passed away Tuesday morning September 21^st 2021.  He was born September 13^th 1959 in Santa Rosa, NM. 

Rico is survived by his mother, Gloria Tivis, sister, Judy Sanchez, brother, Harold Sanchez Jr, brother, Galen Tivis, sister, Tracy (Jose) Martinez, nieces, nephews, cousins and many aunts and uncles as well as extended family and friends. 

Rico had a creative side to him.  He enjoyed drawing and painting landscape scenes of Arizona and New Mexico along with his curiosity for Native American and western cultures.  He shared a love for the landscape of the ranch in Dahlia, New Mexico where his father was from.  He was a devoted son, big brother, uncle and friend.  He was self-employed as a landscaper for most of his life.  Rico loved watching old western movies, photography, arrowhead hunting and playing any game the kids would ask. 

We celebrate his life in heaven.  He is whole again with our heavenly Father walking and talking with the family that greeted him at the gate.  We will forever feel his big bear hugs that sometimes hurt.  Rest in paradise.
