Obituary of Silvano Ralph Minella Sr.

Silvano Ralph Minella, age 67, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Jun 3rd, 2023. He was born on February 9th 1956 in Tucson, AZ to Ralph and Patricia Minella formally of Cincinnati OH. As a child he was very athletic and played little league baseball as a pitcher and pitched two no hitter’s games. He continued his love of sports and wrestled for Saguaro high school. Later in life he married and had his son Silvano Minella Jr. He worked many years as a local LTL carrier trucker for Yellow Freight and retired in 2019. He enjoyed the freedom of retirement as well as having fun with family and friends. He is survived by his sisters, Donna Cavicchioni and Melinda Ribaudo; His son, Silvano Ralph Minella Jr., daughter-in-law Christina Minella, grandson Skyler Minella; three nieces Danielle Applegate, Dawn Colucci and Andrea Fleener and many loving great nieces and nephews. The memorial will be held at Desert Sunset Funeral home which will be attended by close family. Friday June 16, 2023 at 12-4pm.
