Obituary of Elizabeth Jean Hardin

Elizabeth "Betty" Jean Hardin born in Johnson City, New York. Passed away Oct. 3, 2023 at the age of 90. She was a long-time resident of Marana, AZ. The daughter of Julia and Albert Johnson. 

She was a devout Catholic. Betty married David Hardin in 1952 and spent 56 loving years together until David's death in 2008. They raised nine children together. Once her children were older, she started working outside the home as CNA at Desert Life Nursing Home, eventually leading to her opening her own assisted, living home.

She is preceded in death by her husband David G. Hardin,  her daughter, Kathy (Jerry) Gogerty, her son, John M. Hardin, and her great grandchild Damien L. Hardin. She is lovingly remembered by her remaining seven children Jim (Patty) Hardin,  David Hardin, Chris Hardin, Terry (Pete) Murray, Mary Walton (Clay), Lora Hayden and Rosie (Carlos) Davila, and her 15 grandchildren 23 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Betty will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Funeral Services will be held at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton church, 8650 N. Shannon Rd, Tucson, AZ. 85742 On Friday, October 13, 2023 at 11:00am.
