In Loving Memory of Rosemary Vina Lenners December 14, 1940 – November 24, 2023 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rosemary Vina Lenners, a cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and creative spirit, who left this world on November 24, 2023, surrounded by her family at the age of 83. Rosemary was born on December 14, 1940, in Rockford, Illinois to Martin Henry and Ena (Carney) Hudson. She grew up in Byron, Illinois.

Rosemary filled our lives with love and an abundance of homemade goodness. Her passion for sewing, quilting, baking, and cooking was not just a skill but a reflection of her boundless love for family and friends. Her kitchen was a place of joy and creativity, where she shared her culinary talents with everyone fortunate enough to taste her creations. In addition to her culinary skills, Rosemary was an avid quilter and seamstress. Her hands crafted beautiful quilts that became treasured heirlooms, each stitch telling a story of love and dedication. Her creations adorned our homes and wrapped us in the comfort of her love. Family was at the core of Rosemary’s existence.

She married the love of her life, James Michael Lenners on April 10, 1999, and together they built a home filled with love, laughter, warmth and traveling. Rosemary is survived by her children Rene (Leticia) Matus, Andre (Darlene) Matus, Greg Matus, Danny (Marla) Matus, Greg (Stacie) Lenners, Kathy (Ernie) East, along with 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, sister, Marta (Ken) Reichert of Prescott, AZ and a host of nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Martin and Ena Hudson; husband, James Michael Lenners; brothers, David & Danny Hudson; sisters Maureen Robichaud & Monica Serventi and a great grandchild Azalea Almary Matus.

A celebration of Rosemary’s life will take place on March 1, 2024, at 10 am at Veterans Cemetery located at 15950 N. Luckett Rd., Marana, AZ. 85653. Immediately following the service, a gathering will take place at the VFW Post #5990 at 15850 W. El Tiro Rd., Marana, Az. 85653.
